Meet
Dr. Hunter Tadlock

Dr. Hunter Tadlock was born and raised in South Louisiana right outside of New Orleans. After completing her BS in Biological Sciences at LSU, she moved to Oregon in 2018. While attending University of Western States Chiropractic College, Dr. Tadlock completed her Doctorate of Chiropractic Medicine and her MS in Sports Medicine concurrently. After graduating cume laude, Dr. Tadlock worked for two years in an urgent care clinic treating patients with acute injuries including whiplash, sprained ankles, strained rotator cuff muscles, etc. In the following two years, Dr. Tadlock worked at a clinic in Hillsboro specializing in chronic pain and the treatment of disc injuries with Non-Surgical Spinal Decompression. 

Dr. Tadlock has seen many patients over the years who have been given temporary solutions to addressing their pain, and she strives to provide health care that addresses the root cause of the problem. She is passionate about genuinely listening to her patients’ goals and concerns, empowering her patients to take charge of their own healing journey and giving direction should another opinion be needed.

    Electrical Muscle Stimulation (EMS)
    EMS involves the use of a device that delivers controlled electrical pulses through electrodes placed on the skin near the muscles. The electrical current mimics the natural signals from the nervous system, prompting the muscles to contract. EMS can be used for different purposes such as rehabilitation, enhancing muscle strength, pain relief, muscle relaxation and improving circulation.


    Therapeutic Ultrasound
    Therapeutic ultrasound involves a handheld device called a transducer that emits sound waves when moved over the affected area of the body. These sound waves produce microscopic vibrations that generate heat within the tissues or stimulate tissue repair through mechanical vibrations (known as non-thermal effects). This therapy penetrates the skin and reaches the deeper tissues, such as muscles, tendons, ligaments, and joints. It is primarily used in physical therapy and rehabilitation to accelerate recovery, reduce inflammation, and improve mobility.
